Candidasa Dive Site

Gili Mimpang consists of 4 mini rock islands and is located close to the village of Candidasa. The quality of the reef is healthy and it boasts a rich marine life with the occasional shark and turtle. The site is a combination of slopes and walls.

Temperature : 25-28 degrees (July – Sept: 20-24 degrees)

Visibility : 15-25m

Currents : Medium - Strong

Diver Level : Advance (at lease 50 log dives experience)

Gili Mimpang

Gili Topekong

This small island boasts spectacular swim-throughs, reef slopes and vertical walls. On this site for advanced divers, you can expect to find large schools of barracudas, turtles and in season the occasional mola mola. The current can be challenging at times, so EL Scuba only dives there when the current is not too strong.

Gili Biaha

Gili Biaha is most famous for its shark cave at about 12 metres depth. The site itself is as the name already suggests a little island . The dive is a wall dive. The wall has a few terraces and you can often find octopus, nudibranch, manti shrimps and if you are lucky a leaf scorpionfish.
