NUSA PENIDA DIVE SITE

A place that is so popular for those lovers of underwater tourism.
Its location in Tanjung Pandan, near the southwest tip of the island of Nusa Penida, is the farthest dive spot on the island. Not only the underwater beauty, but the natural scenery of the land that is presented is also amazing, steep limestone cliffs adorn this area, sea waves are sometimes quite large in certain seasons from the Indian Ocean.

Is one of the most famous dive site in Bali and even in Indonesia. It is indeed one of the few places in the world where you can meet the Mola Mola very regularly, between July and October. And some years even earlier. When diving Crystal Bay, your best chance to meet the Mola Mola is after what is called the second corner, behind the small island in the middle of Crystal Bay. But you must be very attentive to tearing or down currents that can be violent. It is therefore essential to follow an experienced guide knowing perfectly well the dive site and to respect his instructions.

It is in fact a very wide drop-off, about eight kilometers long, along which the current will carry you throughout the site. When there is little current you will stay around your starting point on the same dive site. But if the current is stronger, your drift dive may take you through several of these dive sites ! The current is generally stable and the diving is very pleasant. However, you must remain vigilant to rip currents and downdrafts. When diving with the right instructor, safety will remain the first objective!

Mangrove dive site is one of the great dive site in Bali. It is a vast coral plateau situated on the North coast of Nusa Lembongan. It takes its name from the large mangrove area located at the eastern part of Lembongan, close to Nusa Ceningan Strait. Anyone diving Mangrove can see by himself the important role of mangrove in the local ecosystem. It indeed contributes to the health of the reef and the quality of the underwater landscape and the corals.

There is a small coral plateau, 4 to 6 meter deep which is also a snorkeling site. After this plateau, there are two terraces. The first terrace is about 12 to 15 meter deep. And the second terrace is around 30 to 40 meters deep. It is a very popular dive site because the water is clear and the coral is rich. And also because the bay, although quite exposed, does offer some protection from the strong current flowing through the strait.
