Can anyone learn to dive?

Do I need medical certificate to dive in Bali?

Of course you must be generally healthy.
At the time of booking we will send you a medical checklist for you to complete. If you can answer no to all of the questions then you are clear to dive.
If you answer yes to any questions then you must get a medical certificate to say you are fit to dive.

What age do I have to dive?

Anybody above the age of 10 can learn to dive and enjoy the ocean.
Younger kid aged 8 and 9 can also get a taste of what diving is all about by joining either the PADI Bubble Maker or PADI Seal Team programs which are all conducted in the safety of our on site swimming pool.
There is no upper age limit other than being able to fulfill the performance requirements for the course.

Its difficult to learn scuba diving?

It’s easier than you imagine, especially if you’re already comfortable in the water. PADI’s entry-level diver course is split into knowledge development (classroom), confined water (pool) skill training and four scuba training dives (Ocean). The course is ‘performance based,’ which means that you progress as you learn and demonstrate knowledge and skill development.

How long does it takes to learn to dive?

In order to get your diving license it can take from two days to become a, PADI Scuba Diver, to four days to gain a PADI Open Water Diver certification. We are also able to offer flexible scheduling for those who cannot do the course all at once. PADI courses are ‘performance based,’ which means that you only earn your scuba certification when you demonstrate that you have mastered the required skills and knowledge. Some people learn faster than others, so how long it takes you may vary.

Do I have to be a good swimmer to be certified as PADI Open Water Diver?

You do not need to be a good swimmer to complete the PADI Open Water Course. It is required that you to be able to snorkel for 300m and float on the surface for 10 minutes.

Is Scuba Diving dangerous?

Not really. Statistics show that recreational scuba diving is about as safe as swimming. Certainly there are potential hazards (which are why you need training and certification) but like driving a car, as long as you follow the rules and use common sense, it’s pretty safe.

Will my instructor be with me all the time?

YES, For all PADI courses your instructor will be with you to ensure a fantastic adventure underwater!
